Two drowned in Thungabadra at Manthralayam

The two victims were idendified as JYOTHI BALAN AND VIJAYA BALAN of Chennai who had come to Manthralayam in Kurnool along with they relitives for dharshan of LORD RAGAVENDRA SWAMY. have drowned in the rever thungabadra. They went in to the river for taking sacred both before darshan and due to spate in the flow,both men how last control and last in the river. Their bodies were found on the bank of the Thungabhadra river on friday.



Their dead bodies were sent to govt. hospital yemmiganur for conducting postmortem.
The police are invesigating the case.

Efforts are being made to shift the bodies to the Chennai.
